Barrio Logan

An emerging art hub, Barrio Logan is one of San Diego's best kept secrets. This epicenter of the city's Mexican-American culture has established itself as a cultural hotspot. Hip bars and restaurants, modern condo developments, and the mural-filled Chicano Park give this neighborhood a distinct urban character. Former warehouses are transformed into creative spaces for art exhibits and and different types of performances. 

Bonita

A hidden San Diego gem nestled between National City and Chula Vista, Bonita offers rural town life in an urban setting close to everything. It is only 8 miles away from Downtown and 10 miles from the Mexican border. At the center of town, Rohr Park offers 3.3 miles of walking trails, a scale-model steam train, an equestrian ring, and dedicated picnic areas. Bonita's limited market of single family homes includes some real treasures. 

Imperial Beach

On the south end, Imperial Beach includes a 4-mile stretch of beach and the Tijuana River Estuary. It is the largest salt water marsh in Southern California and a perfect stop to observe migratory birds and local wildlife. North of the estuary, Living Coast Discovery Center is an aquarium and nature center housing over 350 native plant and animal species.

Chula Vista

The second largest city in San Diego County, Chula Vista is the most populous city in South Bay. Only a short eight mile drive from Downtown San Diego, it spans 55 miles from the bay to the mountains. Play golf one of four challenging yet accessible golf courses spread throughout the city, enjoy a day of recreation at Otay Lake Reservoir, take in the vibrant shopping and dining scene at Otay Ranch Town Center, or enjoy a leisurely stroll down historic Third Avenue Village.

National City

An up-and-coming area, National City has a strong military presence. Its three-mile port along the bay is part of Naval Base San Diego, the largest U.S. Naval base on the entire west coast. As San Diego's second oldest city, National City is truly at the center of it all. It is a short drive to everywhere you want to go in San Diego including Downtown, San Diego International Airport, SDSU, and the US-Mexico border.
